UV printing

In digital printing with UV-curing inks, the ink does not penetrate into the substrate to be printed, but lies like a coating on the material. The UV lamps directly next to the print heads cure the ink immediately. This makes it possible to print on a very wide range of materials - whether they are flexible materials such as PVC, display stretch, foil or hard materials such as glass, wood or ceramics. Since the UV ink is only applied on the surface, the prints are somewhat sensitive to scratches and cannot be sent folded well. The typical UV odor, which usually adheres to the prints, is usually caused by uncured inks and can be significantly minimized by subsequent heat treatment.
